My thoughts on modern dating

Well, it’s actually my thoughts on marriage and relationships. I have watched enough reaction videos on modern dating that I have formed an opinion, of sorts.

I agree that feminism has poisoned the minds of women. They are told that they should have career ambitions and climb the corporate ladder, even if it’s on their knees or back. They are to eschew staying at home with children. They are to experience their time to be a hoe during their twenties and start looking for a husband in their thirties. And when they do have kids, daycare is willing to take their money to entertain their kids.

And there’s also the respect factor. Women are now bosses, so it is difficult for them to turn off boss-mode when they are not at work. They are willing to submit to the authority of the man at their occupation but have trouble submitting to the authority of their husband, or even consider him an equal.

There’s also the delusional standards they have. Must be over six feet tall, six figure income, blah blah blah. These are standards of single moms with four children and three baby daddies. They expect to be worshipped.

Men are not off the hook, either. Porn is easily available. Video game consoles or PC games must be part of the routine. Gambling is also a lure to feed on their competitive nature. And they are encouraged to “sow their oats” with as many women as possible if they want to be considered a real man.

The work day is what’s destroying marriages. Husbands and wives are at work 8 hours a day, minimum, plus commute. They may spend an hour of quality time before going to bed, if they are fortunate. They spend more time with people at work than they do at home. They probably know the people at work better than they know their own spouse. Is it a wonder that so many have affairs with people they work with?

Then the kids get older. They have to sign them up for sports because all their friends will be playing sports. And what if their kids actually have talent? Now they will need to wade into the big business of specialty coaches and traveling teams. The sad part is that they will spend all that money and their kids will probably be lucky to get a scholarship to a Division 3 college. I know, I watched someone in my family do exactly that, soccer clubs, private softball pitching coach, etc. And only one of the four got a partial scholarship to a small D3 college.

Husbands and wives with families were meant to be farmers. The wife managed the house and children, and the husband worked out in the field. Those were the priorities. They were meant to work together to live together so their families could survive together. They weren’t meant to spend their days with strangers and then spend only a few quality minutes together daily, if any at all.

Everything is backwards and it is all done intentionally, to disintegrate the family unit.
