I am neither on the political left nor the political right. I am apolitical. I don’t believe the political is meant to benefit the governed.
I have commented on social media posts about Biden and have been called MAGA cultist. I have commented on social media posts about Trump and been called a libtard.
I do not believe the two-party political system is meant to solve problems. I believe it is meant to cause problems, mostly to be divisive. Has anything changed for the better in the last 100 plus years? Has anything got better in the last 30 years? An honest person would answer “no”.
There was a time when I was very supportive of the neocon version of politics. I was pro-republican and ranted against the left. I didn’t want to hear negative commentary against the any republican in office. Now, I also did not follow politics as closely then as I do now. It may have been around the time of Trump’s first term that things slowly started to change in my political thinking.
I would never have voted for a democrat. I would rather not vote. When Romney ran against Obama, I didn’t vote. I have voted once in the last 25 years, in the 2020 election. I wish I never did because I was agreeing to the set of rules that didn’t benefit me, or any other person voting. I no longer believe elections are genuine and the 2020 election solidified that believe that for me. I did the math. According the poll numbers, approximately 165,000,000 people voted. I do not believe we have 165,000,000 people of voting age in this country. That would be half the population.
When Trump “won” this past time around, he didn’t win the vote, he was put back in office. He disputed the 2020 election results but I believe he was told to stand down, that he would get a second term in four years. He had a case because fraud was evident everywhere in the swing states, but he didn’t pursue it. Pence played his part by allegedly betraying Trump, but Pence was done in politics anyway.
I also believe that the Biden years were intentional, with the intent to be the worst presidency in the history of the country so that when Trump got back into office he would be the shining knight to save this country from the lunacy of the woke left. I honestly feel a little pity for all the people who were duped into pushing the blurring of the genders and green energy, because they were useful idiots. They were used to build up the angst of the right with their idiotic ideology, and when Trump was in office again, he would stoke those flames into a MAGA cult, and it is a cult. And Trump rode the “red wave” into godhood.
But we are being duped, played, victims of a long con. And I finally understood it.
This life isn’t about being on the right side of politics. It is about living selflessly. We have been programmed to look out for number one, ourselves. We have been brainwashed to root for team blue or team red.
But we do not have to choose a side. There is another option and that option is not a political one.
Think of this way. Say I am at a farmers market because I want to support local farms and other such people. I am at a booth and someone has something about solar energy. I believe solar panels are antithetical to farming, both because carbon dioxide is good for plants and the panels are full of toxins that would destroy farmland. I mention something, nothing snarky or demeaning, just a comment like solar panels are a scam. Now I have unintentionally set up two sides of an issue when there really isn’t one. If one stops to think objectively about green energy then I believe most would think that it doesn’t work on the scale that the country needs. If it did, solar farms and wind farms would be built to provide electricity for the data centers they are constructing. But they are not. They are considering building nuclear power plants because it technically is the cleanest and cheapest energy available.
The system has taught us not to think objectively and critically, to work through the logic of any issue. Instead, the system taught us to react emotionally, and to be in a constant flux of fear and anger. Fear and anger are not conducive to clear thinking. They cause impulsive reactions.
If you read this, and you watch the news, take a minute to think about how the entity presenting the news wants you to react. I have learned that if I wait 48 hours, more details will come out that mostly contradicts what the original news report was.
Take the time to take a breath, sit back and think critically.
