An Open Letter and Appeal to Discernment Ministries

To Justin Peters, Holly Pivec, Doug Geivett, Brandon Kimber, Chris Rosebrough, et al.

Please stop engaging Dr Michael Brown (or Sam Storms) in Round Table discussions or in any other face-to-face forum, with the intention of convincing him that the dangerous and narcissistic antics of the NAR false teachers are unbiblical and blasphemous,, that these teachers are only interested in becoming rich and famous. Brown has no interest whatsoever in correcting any of his fellow cronies.

As a caveat, however, if the intent is to expose Brown as a fraud then please continue to do so, and hold his feet to the fire.

I have watched multiple videos reviewing the two round tables with Brown and Storms with Justin Peters and Jim Osman, and the one with Brown and Holly Pivec and Doug Geivett. I honestly can’t watch the actual round table discussion because I can’t stand watching Brown and Storms essentially lie to protect the depraved NAR leaders. In the clips I did see, I was not surprised by Brown or Storms protecting their cronies. I was disgusted instead.

Doug and Holly did an excellent job of not allowing Brown to control the conversation, which he mostly did in the round table with Justin and Jim.

I’m convinced that Brown could be shown evidence of Todd White of breaking a law or Kenneth Copeland literally taking money directly from someone’s wallet and he will not disavow what they teach.

He doesn’t care.

Brown misses the Brownsville Revival. He is a false spiritual revival junkie. He is jonesing for the “spiritual high” he had then. He was one of the leaders of the alleged revival, walking around shouting “FIRE!” and people falling or doing whatever they had been primed to do.

His arrogance is so evident in his discussions. He is condescending. When I was still on Twitter, I had a few back-and-forth discussions with Brown. He usually ends his participation in the conversation with a remark to read all his books and articles, as if that settled it. I heard him do that after the round table discussions. There are lots of physicists and anthropologists with multiple doctorates in their fields but they are wrong about evolution, and it wouldn’t matter how much evidence that shows evolution was not possible, they would stick to believing evolution is fact. That’s Brown and the NAR.

The NAR and the Seeker-Driven movements are the modern day Pharisees and scribes of Jesus’s day, and Brown is Caiaphas. He is up there on his high pedestal as a buffer between the right understanding of biblical truth and the blasphemy of the NAR. And as Caiaphas accused Jesus as being a blasphemer, so Brown is accusing you discernment ministries as being divisive and unloving, and unChristlike.

Sam Storms is not a Calvinist. He is a useful idiot. He is being used as a tool to legitimize the false teachers and the filth they spew from their mouths. He is wrong about how Christians shouldn’t be cynical and skeptical. The Apostle Paul praised the Bereans as being exactly that, cynical and skeptical of what Paul was teaching and verified it against the scriptures.

In Deuteronomy 13, Moses warns Israel about prophets who aim to lead they away from God. Moses said that it was even possible for the prophet to make a prophecy that came to be true. That prophet could give a true prophecy and then try to get Israel to follow other gods, Israel was to not listen to that prophet, even if his prophecy came to be fulfilled. Israel was to put that prophet to death, despite giving a true prophecy. The point I’m making and Brown is missing, even if they make true prophetic statements but continue to teach and act as they do, blaspheming God for financial gain and making a mockery of the Bible, they are to be put out of the church in this age. They should not be allowed to speak.

Even if these self-proclaimed prophets and apostles of today gave a true prophecy, they are telling their followers to follow false gods, and those false gods are themselves. They are the gods the church ought to be worshipping. And Brown will defend them because he is one of them.

Bill Johnson wants to be worshipped for his pseudoprofundity. He believes he makes up deep statements of extreme profoundness that we all should be in awe of the depth of his whatever. And he believes the false claims of miracles and angel feathers buttress his pseudo-intelligence.

Todd White wants to be worshipped for his parlor tricks, leg lengthening and alleged healings. His practiced emotional manipulative oral appeals are his schtick.

Kenneth Copeland wants to be worshipped for being a billionaire. He often boasts about his possessions. He does fake miracles. I don’t know how he can be defended because he is such an obvious fraud.

How can anyone defend Benny Hinn, the most fraudulent of them all?

I will even toss in Steven Furtick, who prances and struts around on the stage. Another one who needs audience affirmation for his pseudo profundity. I was watching a review of a Furtick video and Furtick mentioned having a conversation with his performance coach. I repeat, performance coach. Has there been a more telling statement? The reviewer didn’t even pick up on it. How many of the others have a performance coach on the payroll?

Michael Todd. He has no business being on stage but Brown would defend probably defend him.

Brown’s appeal to personal relationships with the NAR leaders and claims that they don’t believe what they say publicly is pathetic. That is totally not relevant to the discussion. If they don’t believe what they say publicly then why are they saying it publicly? They may or may not believe what they say but they like the money it brings so they say it, and keep saying it. It’s a pathetic attempt to gaslight, just as Dawn Hill says it is.

Bottom line is Dr Brown is a fraud and a deflector. He is condescending and arrogant. He knows exactly what he is doing and his intent is the opposite of “bring glory to God and edifying the body”. He does neither, he does the opposite. He brings shame to Christ’s name and allowing a cancer to fester in the church body. He doesn’t deserve the platform you are giving him.

He ought to turned over to satan like Paul did with Alexander and Hymanaeous. If he is truly a child of God then God will discipline Brown until repents, and I pray that he does. But I don’t believe he will because he loves the honor and adulation. And he mocks all of you when he is with his cronies.

There might be more I could say but I hope this is sufficient. Continue to expose the NAR but don’t invite Brown to any more round tables. He’s an embarrassment.

May God continue to bless your work.
