There are lots of people who make YouTube videos about false prophets and false teachers. They have big churches. They big audiences outside the church. And dozens of people make videos refuting these people and their gimmicks to fool the masses. And my guess is they assume that there are some of the Christian Elect in these churches under the deception and unbiblical influence of these charlatans.
I contend that that is not possible.
In Matthew 24, Jesus teaches His disciples:
And unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him. For false christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you in advance. Therefore, if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them.
It is not possible to deceive the Elect of Christ for long. The Holy Spirit dwelling inside of them will not allow one of the Elect to remain under the influence of a false teacher. I also believe that once a person is born again and has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit they will never lose their salvation. The Spirit will preserve them until Christ returns. King Saul is an example used by people who believe Christians or believers can lose their salvation, because the Bible says the spirit of God left Saul. Therefore, King Saul lost his salvation, so the argument goes.
Not so, for in 1 Samuel 28, when King Saul is with the medium to summon Samuel, when Samuel tells Saul that he will die, Samuel also says:
Moreover Yahweh will also give over Israel along with you into the hands of the Philistines, therefore tomorrow you and your sons will be with me.
If Saul has apostatized and lost his salvation, and thus lost his place in the coming Kingdom, then how could Samuel tell Saul he would be in heaven with him?
This is why I don’t understand why people like Justin Peters, Holly Pivec, Doug Geivett and others believe they can reason with Dr Mike Brown and Sam Storms. I have said it before, I know. I believe these people are wasting their time and should just continue to expose them, turn them over to satan and let the Holy Spirit bring them back to the fold, if they are truly one of Christ’s sheep. Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Todd White, the “Demon Slayers”, and others who aligned with them for earthly gain, are not interested in biblical truth, they love money.
My point is the Holy Spirit will not allow an Elect sheep of Jesus Christ remain under false teachings for long, because the Elect cannot be deceived, because Jesus said “if it were possible”, which means it is NOT possible for the Elect to be deceived.
Those churches are full of deceived goats. The Name of Christ is spoken but is in blaspheming way that will lead them all to Hell. Maybe some are the Elect, and if so, God will lead them to the Truth found in Christ.
