I don’t mean critics in a negative way. I mean it in a discernment way. It is necessary to expose the NAR, the blaspheming frauds that they are. All of them.
But please, stop asking Dr Mike Brown to round tables to discuss the disgusting, deceptive and dangerous antics and teachings of the NAR apostles and false prophets. He has no desire to have an honest discussion. He only wants to gaslight (ht Dawn Hill) and obfuscate, not actually take an active role in correcting anyone.
Brown is a condescending bully. He has no interest in “bringing glory to God and edifying the body”. His only interest is to defend his friends. His friend Sid Roth is the biggest perpetrator of frauds and charlatans, and he will always defend him.
I have watched some of the two round table discussions. Frankly, I can’t watch too long because I am disgusted by Brown’s behavior. I had interactions with him back when I was on social media. And he still uses the same condescending attitude now he used then. Basically, it is this: I have written a lot of books and articles, I have a radio show and blah, blah, blah, so I am smarter than you. Therefore, your opinion doesn’t matter any more than the bug I just swatted.
In my lowly opinion, he misses the old days of the Brownsville fake revival. He misses the emotional high of walking around the auditorium and yelling “FIRE” while pointing at people, and then watching them fall and convulse on the floor. He loved the spotlight, the admiration of the crowd, the respect and awe people gave him. He misses it. This could only be the reason why he doesn’t call out NAR false teachers like Bill Johnson and Todd White. I know he jonesing for a fix. I’ve been around people who are like that, wishing they were at the latest “outpouring of the Spirit” when they hear about one somewhere, kinda like the Blackaby guide.
As Doug Geivett pointed out to Dr Brown, Brown’s private conversations with his NAR compatriots don’t mean squat. It doesn’t matter if they privately digress from public statements if they never publicly digress from their public statements. It is not relevant. If the conversation cannot be corroborated then it basically didn’t happen.
One last point. Dr Brown will only say something negative if one of his buddies has a moral failing. Mike Bickle had a moral failing that lasted 40 years, grooming young women. I’d be willing to guarantee that Bickle ogled young women publicly, maybe in front of Brown or Storms and covered it up by saying “I had a word from the Lord about her.” I haven’t listened but I wonder if Brown questioned Bickle’s talent as a “prophet” when it was revealed that Bickle was using his “prophetic” to spiritually and sexually abuse young women.
So,please, stop engaging Dr Mike Brown. Unless the reason is to prove he is a gaslighting fraud, then, please embarrass him.
