I have read a lot of memes telling me that “wearing masks and getting vaccinated is loving your neighbor”. I find this to be the usual tactic of the Left. It’s pretty much the only time they quote the bible. The reason is they somehow think that quoting the bible adds weight to whatever oppressive idea they are pushing on the citizens of this country.
The problem I have is that a lot of Christians are using the same tactic. They are telling the unvaccinated to get vaccinated so they can demonstrate how much they love their neighbor.
For most Christians, there is a moral and ethical reason why they are not getting vaccinated. The vaccines are made with the mRNA. If you have lived in a cave for the past year, mRNA cells are cells harvested from aborted babies.
Another way to state it: babies are being murdered, sacrificed even, so that the selfish living can fight a common cold virus.
And I have heard that the Johnson and Johnson shot is from synthetic or cloned cells. Well, those cells had to come from an original source of real murdered baby cells so the moral conviction, for me anyway, still holds.
Those Christians whose convictions are strong enough to not get vaccinated should be commended, not condemned as not “loving their neighbor”. Where are these Christians when Planned Parenthood and other murder factories are killing the unborn and then selling the fetuses to Big Pharma to make the vaccines? I guess the post-birth people are much more important to the pre-birth people. Loving one’s neighbor stops at the vaginal canal.
Getting vaccinated should not be considered being a good witness to the non-Christians in your life. Standing on your convictions and what the bible teaches to be truth is truly loving your neighbor, and sharing that with your neighbor.
